What Lurks in Yonder Woods?
This was going to be a flower blip -- not that I really wanted it to be, but I didn't have much time available for photography today. I took my camera on the dog walk to see what I could find. The only thing that caught my eye were the Ocean Spray (Holodicus discolor) blossoms -- masses of them. I took a few photos that were not very inspiring, and then I saw this back-lit blackberry branch. To me it looked like a ballet dancer being threatened by strange flying creatures. I swear I hadn't had a drop to drink.
The general contractor's foreman and designer, along with the plumbing and heating sub-contractors, came to inspect the basement this afternoon. They all thought it was going to be a simple, straightforward project. We shall see!
