Chloe

Up early and straight off to Alton Towers. We'd taken Chloe with us so Maddy had a friend there. We'd made Maddy and Chloe both promise they'd be brave and try a ride they'd never done before.

When we got in we headed straight for the Runaway Mine Train which Chloe didn't go on last time she visited when she was five. She had been quote up for the idea but she freaked out in the queue and by the time it was our turn Roz literally had to drag her on kicking and screaming. She stayed screaming until just before the end of the first of two laps at which point she announced it wasn't too bad. By the end of the two laps she informed us that it was quite good and she'd go on it again (and did she ever, she managed another eleven times that day).

After that it was straight over to the Nemesis which Maddy had bottled out of on our previous two visits. She went straight on with no fuss and thoroughly enjoyed it.
