Not quite ready

I am only just getting back into garden activities....hmmm.
My broccolli was a bit stringy.
The fennel is taking ages.
The weeds are taking over.
The sunflowers are more successful, but they are taking ages to open.
L wants to grow tomatoes and lemons and peppers and build houses for the bees to live in...we'll see!!
