ok so it may seem a bit random but today got me thinking about words and more specifically how languages evolve over time. every day at work i have to ask for explanations as to some of the words and phrases used by my guys and yet they are still speaking english apparently.
you know i really did want to get into this but it's 11:30pm and it is still (according to the thermometer app on my iphone) 21 degrees. now i'm not complaining as i have the added bonus of being able to work outside but it kinda leaves you a tad lethargic.
so hope you all have a great weekend. roll on sunday though, british grand prix and the world cup final. isn't it convenient that baby McD has a birthday party to go to.
p.s. also forgot to say on the subject of words that one can also "be a grass".
