Lake

First attempt at taking one - good - photo per day, I hope to take time out each day to photograph some of the people and places that catch my eye.

Our local stream, has been transformed over the last 12 months by Dún Laoghaire County Council's Parks dept.

I caught myself asking my wife to go for a walk down by the 'Lake' recently, so I thought I'd take a photo to show the wildlife and the amazing growth in the reeds since they appeared to be destroyed by last winter's storms.

Its truly amazing how this project has transformed the local park, both visually and socially, walkers frequently stop to discuss the ducks and plant growth: sometimes with strangers, but often with neighbours.
