Jack of all Fruits

Jackfruit, or we call it "langka" in our tropical country, is a favorite fruit here. Its fleshy yellow tasty meat can be eaten when it is ripe like what we did earlier today at lunch. I was almost rushing to the end of my main dish to 'romance' a slice of yellow lovething from this great fruit. Sometimes we cook the young fruit with precious little yellow monggo seeds and pork knuckles. That's another story. Ahhh....maybe tomorrow I can share that with you. *wink*
