FLITTING BY

Small Tortoiseshell on the Lavender.

I went to a nearby hamlet this morning, as I had seen some photographic possibilities during the week but felt too conspicuous trying to take photos on the way to work. As it was we were watched intently by one of the residents as we strolled up the lane. from the results I was then spoilt for choice to know what would be my blip of the day, but in the end decided on this butterfly in the garden, as the other opportunities will still be there another day, unless a demolition company visit the hamlet in the near future. One shot especially I will be returning for soon as it was very hard not to upload that instead.
