Chinese Lanterns

Well Singapore just took me to a new level. The overnight sleeper train did nothing for me but the mix of the modern and the classical was something else. I visited Sentosa Island, rather peculiarly described as the most southern tip of "mainland Asia" (despite being entitled an island), and into Chinatown. I was most taken by the Thian Hock Keng temple, where I found these lanterns.
