What a Dreich Day

It's been raining practically all day and hence there's been a strange atmosphere in our household for the most part of the day.

The morning started well as my dearly beloved wife blessed me with a long lie (of sorts), 9.30am, you have to take what you can get with Aidan about. We then had another lazy morning followed by a nice lunch together. During a brief respite from the weather, Aidan and I seized the opportunity and headed to the local park for a shot on the swings and roundabout which I was very pleased not to fall off today. We then had a wee walk and run about on the grass and headed back home. Since then there has been a steady decrease in my mood though, probably directly linked to the weather and due to the fact Jo and I are making our way to Balado for the day tomorrow. We've been getting in the mood by watching the BBC coverage of T, as you can see Kelly Jones of the Stereophonics in the corner of the pic. Oh well nevermind, better look out my waterproofs and my gin!
