We are still homeless, but the auction was fun. I did the bidding and quite got into that throwing thousands away. Theoretically only, the other guy had a bigger budget. So we are back to the drawing board, a bit disappointed, but not heart-broken. It was a new, unusual experience.

After the adrenaline levels settled down, we went to see Toy Story 3. The age span of our cinema group was ca 37 years and everybody enjoyed the film. It was another great Pixar production.

We finished off the day with a sociable dinner with the neighbours. My experimental pork and veal chili con carne without chili-peppers but with Chinese five-spice powder was successful. And I didn't have as much to drink as it looks on the photo.
