Digging Dinner
I hope this is a decent photograph. I think that I should be a good photographer first when I put my images on Blip. Since I seem to make that case to others, I should follow my own conviction. Sometimes, however the subject is too close to make a clear judgement. I hate when it happens to me who is in theory an art professional charged with judging ART on a universal level. But here sentimentality strikes with its poison-filled fang and the cold CURATORIAL eye goes fuzzy.
My younger cousin's grandson is digging up new potatoes for dinner. Becker looks like me at that age when I dug potatoes with Dad. Oppppsssss - the eye gets cloudy with the association of the personal.
