Scarecrows

Today did not go according to plan. Last night our fridge gave up the ghost, so today it was hitch up the trailer to the Saxo and off to town to get a new one.

Then later we had to make another trip to town for another unforeseen emergency and I decided that since we were half way there we should go down to Sumburgh for some rifle ammunition, as I was down to my last 5 rounds and the rabbits are taking over.

On the way down we came across this field of fine scarecrows in Wester Quarff. There was someone there taking pictures already and he told me that there was a competition for the best one, with both adult and child sections. There were too many to get them all on my blip, but these were some of the best.
