Visitor

This morning I was greeted by a pigeon on my balcony. It just sat there staring at the sky. It didn't mind M. having a closer look. It finally left when TLG came out with a vanilla biscuit. All morning flocks of pigeons have been flying across and between the neighboring buildings.

Last year we had a larger pigeon come every morning for a week. He sat on the balcony for hours. He would fly off at dusk. My neighbour at the flat below, said they also had a pigeon come by everyday. They would leave the balcony door open and this pigeon would walk in, go to the kitchen, eat the dog's food, and leave. (tsk, tsk. Pigeon nowadays!)

I wonder if today's unexpected visitor will be back tomorrow.
