A disconnected sort of week this week, probably caused by a day off on Wednesday. A full week at work might be an unpleasant and onerous experience but it's the basic measure with which we count the chunks chipped off our lives. From about 15:30 on Friday the change to half-full mode can be made and the potential contents of the 53 hours remaining until I need to think about going to bed ready for Monday morning can be contemplated.

I've already made a big dent in my Flickr backlog having just finished uploading (if not tagging and titling) pictures up to the flight home from holiday. Nicky's meeting a work-colleague for coffee tomorrow lunchtime which probably means her initial plan to clear out one of our cupboards this weekend is scrapped which frees up more daylight-time for nice things rather than horrible things like chucking stuff out.
The only things I really have to do are buy some christmas presents, buy a birthday present or two, take my bike back to the shop for it to be properly fixed and possibly stick a couple of things up on eBay before they get lost in a cupboard somewhere. Other than that the entire weekend is free for finding a well-lit place in which to lurk with camera at the ready.
