Looking over Gateshead down to the River Tyne.
A warm, but very windy day made this view a little clearer. It is taken from the area that is the highest in Gateshead.
The tall building on the left is the Rocket,at Dunstan. A high rise block of flats whose shape resembles a rocket. It is soon to be demolished as no-one likes living there.
The gasometer on the right is close to the river.
The red roof tops in the foreground are Low Fell, where I was born, and have spent most of my life.
