Rufford Country Park

This handsome chap was just hanging around as we wandered though Rufford Country Park this afternoon on a little excursion with the kids.

He reminds me of those rotund ladies that Beryl Cook used to paint - or even the beast from the kids' programme Maggie and the Ferocious Beast!

Kind of cute in an ogre-ish kind of way!
