Beaches and Pizza

This weekend perfectly encapsulated my motivations for moving to Berlin. While our friends back in Edinburgh enjoyed a weekend of temperatures in the high teens we were swimming in Berlin's lakes in the mid to high thirties.

Today we got up bright and early to join the masses (and there were masses) in Strandbad Wansee. The kids had a wonderful time and we finished the evening off with self made Pizza's made in Opa's self made Pizza oven and the kids made the most of the heat by running naked round the garden jumping through the sprinklers.
