Fine Friends, Food and Fun in the Sun

After family and friends had enjoyed a lunchtime barbecue, we lazed under the shade of the gazebo, whilst the children amused themselves with their toys. This progressed to pouring water over themselves and then to chasing each other with water squirting fire extinguishers, picked up at the local agricultural show yesterday. Beloved had baked a rather fine black forest gateau, which had to be eaten today in case it went off!

Here pictured is our younger daughter after a thorough soaking and enjoying every minute of it. We have the coolest children in our street.
