Morning gold
Today I was back in the Cheltenham cauldron (in a work, not climate, sense), so opportunities for photography were limited, to say the least.
I did manage to pop out of the office for five minutes at lunch time, so I immediately headed for our local Spanish restaurant expecting to be able to focus on the World Cup final build-up, but... just one or two feeble red and yellow balloons.
However, on my way to work this morning I had taken one or two of the Municipal Offices and the result turned out to be reasonably blippable (please excuse the word invention!).
This is very Cheltenham with its grand regency architecture and proud Union Flag. The best thing about it for me is the gorgeous colour of the stone.
Anyway, the day has ended on a positive note, with Spain winning the World Cup. How I wish I was back in that wonderful city of Madrid right now!
