Safe!

Spent the day at the London Tournament, an annual weekend of competitive baseball games held in the lovely surroundings of Croydon.

I was there to watch my eldest son play for the Great Britain Juniors baseball team who used the tournament as a warm up for their forthcoming trip to Austria for the European Championship Qualifiers.

They did a great job, demolishing 3 of the 4 adult teams they played this weekend and narrowly losing to a team which included the best players from the current British National League and even some bloke who had been playing AA ball for the NY Mets earlier this season. All in all, a good weekend.
