hopscotched flagstones ~ plus a little surprise!

First off, thank you to the creators and maintainers of Blipfoto. It is a simple, elegant, workable expression of a great idea!

Thanks, as well, to all of you who are already sharing your daily offerings. They are fun, delightful and often very moving.

Putting both together, Blipfoto has made me feel more connected within our global community, and at a more personal level: one by one. I value this extremely.

In short, I am eager to be more involved. So here?s the first stepping stone of my offerings, a daily journal which I call, hopscotch.

hopscotch:

1. a children's game requiring agility, balance, skill, speed and stamina, played with others on squares and rectangles chalked out on a walk or scratched into the ground.

2. a training ground as big as a football field requiring all of the above, but with heavier lifting that?s more difficult by an order of magnitude, used at least as far back as the Roman phase of British history.

3. a metaphor for our journey through life.

Not too far off from what we?re about, is it?
