Summer eating

Worked in the AM, then went on a chicken coop tour. Seattle Tilth offered a tour of 30 local homes that have chicken coops in their backyards and you can pick and choose which ones you want to visit. We went near the end of the touring hours, so only got a chance to visit a couple of them. Great hobby/investment, but not sure if we'll do it while we live at our current house.

After that we had a nice visit with our friends T & K & baby SP - made a caprese salad and grilled veggie pasta with broccoli pesto (my new go to thing - the pesto, that is). And lots of rose!

I need to remember to take more pics of interesting stuff during the day instead of a crappy one right before bed.
