Carved tribute
Today we hiked on a new path. It took us to a new wooded area that I was unfamiliar with. As we wandered, we found rocks carved with human faces which serve as a memorial. These serve as a permanent tribute, but I found them a bit eery. It was odd to see these faces staring at you, and I wondered whether these carvings exactly reflect the person who is no longer with us or whether they were created artistically. Fortunately, the little TMGs found these items interesting and enjoyed looking closely.
