Mystery at Sunset

A beautiful day today, with a beautiful sunset to round it off.

I thought I saw a sliver of a 'fingernail' moon in the sunset, and took a few shots. However, it was then accompanied by a second sliver. I couldn't find the binoculars to check it out, but when I zoomed in on the photos I had taken, they seem to have trails. Also, the moon itself appeared later and was almost a full one.

I hope you can see them - any ideas what they could be? (By the way I was facing North West if that helps anyone!)
