Maintenance!

Halfway up the uphill part of my ride to work this morning and something ominous sounded. Every rotation of the pedals brought forth a clunk. I held my breath and kept going to the top of the hill then freewheeled down through the estate to work.

Later.."Steve, would you take a look at my bike..?" Having described the technicalities of the clunking I left Steve tutting over the evidence. Apparently I am rubbish at maintaining my bike and consequently this little guy snapped.

Bike into the bike shop tomorrow, gel saddle transferred on to Tony's bike, cogs duly tefloned, wrist slapped, lesson learned! Thanks Steve!
