Charlevoix Michigan

Recently we found the Charlevoix public library and out internet research moaning at the cabin has been silenced. It is starting to all come together piece by small piece and the topic and first inklings of a plot have been getting great reviews from all sorts of people we've been putting out feelers to. People from Radiolab to Harvard have been saying good things and sending back lots of great ideas and feedback. We're getting so excited!

We're also still enjoying our little lake side retreat, especially eating good food. We've been cooking up a storm of good things every night and indulging so much we feel guilty. Homemade wild mushroom pasta alfredo, miso soup and baked country pumpkin, kale and parmesan salad, and homemade thin pita pizzas crispy and topped with asparagus, sundried tomatoes, and mozzarella goat cheese sprinkled with lemon.

S'mores every night on the woodstove too! While the rest of the country bakes it is still cool and breezy up North here on the lake like a perfect spring evening. We are so lucky I don't want to leave!
