Lake Superior Provincial Park
After a rough start and some major trial and error we decided it was mad to continue our plans heading East across Canada to Nova Scotia. The distances and enormity of the landscape up here would make most of our two week trip a long car ride. And I hate that.
Instead, we decided we're going to explore Lake Superior. After Nova Scotia can wait, but the opportunity to do a great summer road trip around this giant wild coast again seems slim. So like a migratory bird this time I'm escaping the summer heat by heading North around the lakes. Ice covered most of the year in mid summer the climate is sublime up here, the only thing to watch out for are the biting insects!
This is our campsite on Gargantua Bay. The perfect spot for beach strolling and rock skippin...
