Thunder Clouds
Today a storm came over Groningen. Being in the hospital with R. I missed most of it. I saw this sky when I went out for a smoke (ayyyy) with R's daughter. He has two lovely grown up daughters from a previous marriage, I donn't think I could have managed this whole situation without them!
Anyway, the sky is representative for the way I feel right now. There was something that brought a smile to my face today though. R. woke up for just a little while. When the ICU nurse gave him a dosis of antibiotic, his sedative was on hold for a while. He opened his eye's a bit groggy and looked me straight in the face. The nurse sayd we should speak to him at a moment like that and I told him everything was going to be all right, that he should go back to sleep for his body would heal sleeping, that his daughters and I were with him and that we love him. I'm so thankfull for these little moments, giving me the strenght to hold on.
I remember when he was in CCU, half concious, telling me a dozen times that he was so glad that I was there, when I was in dreadfull doubt.....
Tomorrow a new echocardiographic will be made and hopefully we'll get some good news.
Thank you so much all blippers who commented on my yesterdays posting, it meant so much to me! I will take your advice and change my mail adress as soon as things come to rest.
