Here Comes the Rain Again...

It's official: rainy days are here again. Typhoon Basyang (Conson), the first one for the season, is expected to make landfall in Central Luzon later tonight. It's been overcast and wet all day. In anticipation of the heavy rain and strong wind, classes were suspended earlier and flights here in Manila cancelled. Hopefully, we'll be spared from massive floods and mudslides that inevitably occur during typhoon season, or at least not to the extent that we experienced during Ondoy (Ketsana) last year.
