Edinburgh airport-Where did I park... in the 60's?
In that blazing sun, everything bleaches.
There is something about the light in Scotland, when it is bright, that is. Not uncommon, but not as much as one might wish for. I once had a pair of yellow-tinted sunglasses, that made everything look like in those kind of faded old colour prints from Instamatic cameras (No, no, no, no relation to that crappy iPhone app, please), warm highlights and shades less dull.
And looking through those glasses, the rest of day always looked bright.
