Hail, the oracle pig!

He sits on my bookcase next to where I work at home. He isn't full of silver, but copper pennies. I have spent the past 4 hours editing 3 differing versions of my CV, scanned 4 job site websites, sent away 2 email applications and have 2 word docs open for job applications. Times are slow, and its been this way since I graduated. Last year.

Had a meeting at the job centre yesterday, usual stuff. Either over qualified for 'I'll do anything' kinda work, or not enough for experience for 'that would be an ideal job/ dream career!'

Spirit is often low. I sometimes spend a whole day in bed feeling worthless. But then, the pig is right! There is much to be happy about!

Just had a lovely antipasti lunch. I recently became an auntie for the 2nd time (yet to meet the wee man but soon). I'm currently eating a very nice toffee as I type. I'm the healthiest I've been in a few years following an illness. And I have the time to go for a lovely walk planned this afternoon with my partner.

So, deep breaths, and SMILE!
