Long Day

So today was... a very long day.

Work was awful - so busy, pulled in a million different directions. I never thought 5:00 would actually come!

Pete got his promotion today - so happy for him! He deserves it - he has been working so hard. We need to find a good way to celebrate. As for tonight, a great bottle of sauv blanc...

Seeing an old friend tomorrow. Very much looking forward to it. It's been a long time.

As for my happy memory of today, finished the latest Plum novel. Much better than the last few. Very happy right now.

I need to start thinking of a way to be content long term. Maybe a list... or a hobby. I am trying to find a place to volunteer in my spare time. SPCA? That would probably result in me bringing home lots of animals. English project? Tutoring? Who knows. We'll see what responses I get from my email inquiries.
