Kong!

Evie's second red kong magically appeared today. I thought it was long gone. Those things always end up under the bed or couch because she loves to roll them around with her paw.

This weekend I saw a dog on the animal shelter website that is the same breed as Evie. Usually I never see them. I went to the shelter today right when they opened and the dog was still there! I met with the puppy who is 4 months old. She was so happy, friendly, and so cute! Then I brought Evie in to see if they would get along together, and they did! So we will be picking up our new doggy on Monday after she is spayed, but only if the owner doesn't show up and can prove that she is theirs. The puppy has been there for a week and no one has come for her, so I hope we can be the ones to give her a loving home!
