Birthday boy

It would have been Jack's birthday today. This is the only photo ever taken of him as a child. It will be a hard day for Mrs Smith who has decided to spend the day with her Mum in an attempt to distract themselves.

We all miss you Jack, and I am glad we celebrated so many of your birthdays so well whilst you were here. Your 70th birthday, in particular, will never be forgotten by me, or Red, or indeed any of the people who came into our orbit that night! So many happy memories to remember you by.
