It's hard to find inspiration for my blips when my days are spent sitting around waiting for the work phone to ring.

It's a strange time at the moment, I kind of just feel like I am waiting for something big to happen, and the more I count down the days, the more they drag.

I've just been looking back at old photos from 2006 to the present day. Paul and I have done so much since we met; we've been to Miami, Orlando, Amsterdam, Jersey, Georgia, Barcelona, Valencia, Portugal, Lanzarote, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Paul proposed on a surprise trip to New York (New Years Eve 2006) and we got married in Las Vegas. We've eaten in hundreds of restaurants including Joël Robuchon at The Mansion, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, The Fat Duck, Alex, Guy Savoy and The French Laundry. We've met Keith Floyd twice (RIP) and joined him for dinner and drinks in The Lake District.

We've been in Cosmopolitan Magazine (Feb 2007), drank cocktails in The Savoy and set up our own business. We've gone from a one cat house to a four cat house and seen more dead birds and mice than you could imagine. We've done ten hour flights in some very small seats with some very dodgy airlines, and we've done ten hour flights in BA's first class cabin. We've been stuck in the US whilst Eyjafjallajökull fiercely erupted and we've learnt more than most about Gestational Diabetes.

We've been to Christenings, weddings, funerals, parties and BBQs. We've been carried around NYC in a rickshaw during the rush hour. We've paddled in Daytona and ridden white knuckle rides in the Florida theme parks. We've sang along live to Pink, The Beautiful South, REM, Paul Heaton Placebo, Leonard Cohen, Ezio and Curtis Eller. We've slept in some of the best hotels and some of the very worst. One of us has turned 30 and the other is just about to. We've watched one of our friends 'twitch-hike' around the world and become a published author. We've watched SAFC be victorious and be defeated at The Stadium of Light. We've seen Darren Bent score a hat-trick against Bolton. We've sponsored a child in Tanzania and walked in snow that reached our knees.

We've looked down at a pee-stick and seen a positive line slowly emerge.

No matter what has been before, we are about to start the most exciting chapter in our lives, and we cannot wait.
