Flying lessons

This evening I went out into the garden with my camera and I heard such a racket coming from the stables! When I looked in it went quiet immediately but I saw them! All lined up awaiting instruction! Here's a group picture.
We look forward to the swallows coming every year, putting little shelves and big nails up to help them with their nest building efforts.
