Painful pointe...

I love love loved ballet when I was younger and always dreamed of the day I would buy my first pair of pointe shoes! Pointework however wasn't all it was cracked up to be...the dancer is supposed to appear weightless and elegant whilst dancing on the tips of their toes...riiiight that sounds easy and pain free doesn't it?!

I still love ballet but not so much pointe shoes! Live and learn!

I spent today with my gorgeous friend Gemma. Was lovely and relaxed...wish we could do the same everyday. I gave her an early birthday present which she loved - she has been an amazing friend (especially over the past few months) so I wanted to get her something super nice.

Dinner now better dash!
