A Blessing

I'm not a wildlife photographer but I have been inspired by the work of berelaxed and JacquiJay.

Imagine my amazement when I started seeing a woodpecker at our birdtable. Although I have heard the sound of the woodpecker in the area I have never knowingly seen one in 34 years of living here.

It came to me!

I consider that to be a blessing, like the current visit of our daughter and family.

So I blip this with thanks to all those who have opened my eyes to wildlife.
