Fire and Water Fountain
Tel-Aviv was on fire today! The temperature was crazy and I'm burned. Wanted to take a picture of my uber tanned feet with my slipper markings but I guess you guys will be more interested in Fire and Water Fountain than in my dirty feet.
This colorful fountain can be found in an elevated platform over the street called Kikar Dizengoff (Dizengoff Square) right in the heart of Tel-Aviv. The square is mostly inhabited with touchwood teens or toughie tugs, hipsters with their colorful costumes and pigeons waiting for somebody to throw bread crumbs on them...
The fountain was designed by a famous artist Ya'acov Agam who was known for his druthers towards rainbow color schemes. Somebody told me that this fountain is spinning and spurting waters every hour and sometimes bursts flames into the air. I've never witnessed that in my almost 4 years here in Tel-Aviv.
***oh winter, when will you come?!?
