New Bloom

Gardening never ceases to amaze me. (If you can call watering whatever happens to be in the yard, weeding only when it's really REALLY bad, and using a mostly "let's try this and see what happens approach" gardening).

The roses have been looking really bad for awhile. They bloomed in the Spring but we had a terrible heatwave in June and I thought they'd given up completely. But last night I noticed that there are a few small buds on one of the bushes. Wow!

Fortunately Mother Nature knows better than I do - I just try not to interfere.
