The Apple Store

The Apple iPhone 4 has been all the rage for the past couple of months. Testament to Apple?s design simplicity, this stark window display was all that greeted the many customers at the Apple Store in Seattle, WA?s University Village. While most of the other windows throughout the shopping complex were filled with color to entice the various people passing hurriedly by, Apple chose to place black phones on a white background with no explanatory copy or logos. People flocking in by the hundreds during the hour I sat in front of the store reading. Most, however, seemed like they were going in to look or play with the products on display, few actually came out with packages.
