Pat a cake, pat a cake bakers man !

I have been singing pat a cake bakers man and clapping my hands at Harvey everyday since he took an interest. To cut a long story short.... its a hell of alot of clapping! He has never clapped once ! Well today we had a breakthrough atlast and so i grabbed my camera at once to capture the moment.

When i think about it Harvey has done all his learning backwards... he learnt top crawl before he learnt to sit up unaided. And with this step he has learnt to walk, talk, eat by himself before clapping. He dosn't do things by halfs my child.

as you can tell from the picture we have been doing some painting. I just let Harvey get as messy as he wants and then we worry about the cleaning up bit afterwards (is this bad?)
