Lonely Beach

Why do some of us Brits only gather on beaches en masse when it's scorching hot, sitting really close to each other and roasting like lobsters?!?
I love the beach any time of year.
Yellowcraigs is one of my favourites. It was practically deserted today,it was quite a brisk wind and L was nearly up in the air!
