Hanging on to the back doorpost at R's place, where I was checking his mail. Bills keep coming, even when you're in ICU.
One bacteria identified on his old infusion line. It seems to be resitant against the antibiotics he's been given, so they gave him another one of which the docters know it's going to do its job. His temperature not above 39 today! An echocardiogram told us that his heart and valves are working as they should. Tiny little progress we hope, but still a long way to go.....
At times like this I need to hear it LOUD
