The sweltering heat was a good backdrop to watch this classic French movie that I loved when I was a teen and haven't seen in probably 15 years.

God, what a powerful movie, and what an amazing love story.

If you have 3 1/2 hours to spare and are not yet completely jaded by the speed and overstimulation of American TV - this is a wonderful escape from it all.
