A Very Special Place

Today was the first day of our annual Eldon / Perkins family holiday, and this year's venue was the wonderful Killerby Old Hall. The cottages are lovely, it's not too far from home (v important with 2 very little people) and the facilities on site are great.

But over and above all else, this is a special place. 3 years ago, on a beautiful sunny day, two of our closest friends stood on this very spot, under those very trees, and promised to love each other forever, in front of everybody who loves and cares about the two of them.

Watching our children playing together under these trees made me smile.
