The Beach

A wee visit to my mum's today for brunch, and to see my aunt and her family, visiting from Edinburgh. It was a great chance to clear my head after a stressful week.

I had a chat to Jim, my uncle who's a painter, about Blipfoto, and my aim to take at least one photograph every day to keep the creative juices going. He quoted Picasso, who said, "Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working."

They're heading up to Orkney next and I'm really jealous I can't join them with my camera. It's been put in my idea bank for a possible holiday next year. I've not been since I was about 12.
