From the train

Venice is Venice, you know. But what can we say on its gate on the terra-firma? Is there anybody here which he has heard about Mestre? Venice is wonderful, is rich of history and monuments, Mestre is exactly the opposite. And who - like me - lives or works in Mestre, he lives the strange situation to be near to one of finest city in the world and to stay in one of the most ugly!
I go to work by train and this is what I can see everyday from the window. Not so nice don't you believe?
