My sister, Jan, arrived today - lovely to have her to stay here. We popped out to Homebase to get some 'stuff' - I have now sorted my laundry basket problem, got the fixings to put a mirror up and some match pots to try on the walls in Paul's room, plus some other stuff as well. Not the most exciting outing for Jan, but it was very helpful having someone to help decide what to buy. We are saving work on the garden until tomorrow. Watch out brambles, your days are numbered!

She had a quick Skype with Steve before dinner (hi Steve!) and we're off for a walk to the pub now while it's still light.
