White wine Sangria and Tapas

My wife and I have a loose tradition that, when it's someone's birthday, they get to decide what to do for the day. As today was my birthday, I choose dinner at a local spanish tapas restaurant. The tapas were - as usual - absolutely delicious and I - as usual - ordered more than I could eat, but the real surprise was the white-wine Sangria. Neither of us were really in the mood for the normal Sangria they serve (as tasty as it is), but we took a chance on a pitcher of this white-wine stuff, a chance that paid off well!

It was my wife that introduced me to such delights as Sangria, and foods that aren't pie and chips, so I'm dedicating my birthday blip to her :)
